Comb or box jelly cluster off north coast of Jamaica
Description and Comments
Around 3cm (1-1.5 in). Clear with side ridges of cilia running vertically. It was a bit murky, but I didn't see any long tentacles. There were several, I got out of there just in case they stung- so I'm uncertain how large the group was but I saw four very close up. Just south of a shipwreck off the coast near reggae beach area Jamaica

The ridges of cilia make it
The ridges of cilia make it pretty clear it was a ctenophore (comb jelly). Maybe look for pictures of Bolinopsis vitrea and Ocyropsis to see if either of those look similar? Better safe than sorry, but they can't hurt you. Thanks.
