Description and Comments
Don't know what this is, but bottom side is hollow. Top side has small clear spikes all over. The ones I came across averaged 2" long. Fairly clear jellylike. Left on beach near low tide.

Those are pteropod "shells"
Those are pteropod "shells" called pseudoconchs (false shell). Look up Corolla pteropod to see pics of the live animal. Thanks a lot for the report.
