Eudoxids or Calycophorans on beach
Description and Comments
Many (1000s) 1 cm to 6cm transparent "rocketship" shaped bells with one opening. One small orange mass (~3mm) at the bind end of the 'bell'. Same shape and layout across the whole size spectrum. All at the tide line on the sandy beach. Was NOT a salp (only one opening) or jellyfish.

Yea we got a bunch of those
Yea we got a bunch of those in our plankton tow. Looked like a mixed bag of Thetys, Weelia, maybe Doilioleta too. Definitely some siphs in there too. Where was this?
Weird that the map didn't

Weird that the map didn't work...it was on Carmel beach. I looks REALLY carefully and could find any hint of a second opening to the jelly mass.
