stranded mola mola - still alive

i saw several dead molas on the beach (5 or 6) and was very surprised to find one that was still alive. it was about the size of a car steering wheel and maybe 20-25 pounds. seagulls were trying to peck at its eyes but i chased them away before any damage was done. i carried it back out into the ocean and it swam away. i returned a few hours later and couldn't find it so hopefully it's ok.
