Chopped up pieces of deep red jelly - Ocean Beach, CA

red transluscent volleyball sized with slender stingers, other pieces of red jelly like chunks, not jello though, some with thick frilly darker red tentacles, have spotted smaller relative of the man of war (by the sail) size of small bay scallop.
