hundreds of blue jellyfish with clear sails

Lots of these interesting creatures on the beach. In shallow water & washed up on shore. Dark blue bottom or rim; clear tops, and clear sails/wings. Most dead/torn, some unhealthy, a few seemed fresh/alive. The sea weed was much smaller, fine, more intricate than usually found in this area.
