Velella velella update

I've been meaning to check in on this. Still seeing numerous specimens washing up on Clam Beach, Humboldt county, CA. 29 and 30 May, walking the same 2 mile stretch of beach soon after lower high tide, we noticed about 100 individuals each day. They're bleached to colorless, but they're fresh washups, based on it being lower high tide (not leftovers from previous day's tides). Or that's my assumption, anyway.
