Along the shoreline I spotted and to pictures of 60 washed up Jellyfish (Aurelia Aurita) between Taraval and Pacheco.
The weather was overcast with an outside temperature of 53 degrees F, water temperature at 50 degrees F, West-South-West winds at 7 mph, and low tide with 2-3 ft surf: 2ft at 4 seconds.

Hi Hayley —thanks for uploading that composite of photos. You don't need to send them all. We just need some representative ones to figure out what you are seeing.. In this case, it looks like Scrippsia, a hydromedusa, and not Aurelia. Check out the other recent sightings for some other pix... Thanks very much!
