Mississippi Sound - jellyfish
Description and Comments
Spotted several jellyfish with deep red or purple-ish markings with a yellow center. They swam near the surface in the sunlight and varied in size from 4” to 10” wide-bodies. Tentacles on the larger jellyfish would have measured around 60”. Possibly a type of lion’s mane jellyfish?
