Red Jellyfish on Shelly Bay Beach, Beachlands, Auckland NZ

Large, dinner plate sized, red jellyfish washed onto the shore at Shelly Bay Beach after a storm. Similar weather and around the same time of the year that many jellies were washed ashore at Maraetai beach which is just along the coast to the South of this Beach. I didn't see them but reliable friends did. Unfortunately too late for me to take a photo. Will ask my friends to give me a few more details...numbers etc. But they said there were a lot.
