Jelly bloom in Brentwood Bay

Description and Comments

- numerous (500+) moon jellies in Brentwood Bay (around Butchart Gardens private dock)
- mostly same size (bell diameter of 16-18 cm)
- larger bloom occurred in same spot 4-6 weeks ago, which also had several Lion's Mane and Fried Egg jellies
