Sleepy Bay Jellies
Description and Comments
Saw three jellies washed ashore in Sleepy Bay, Freycinet National Park, Tasmania. All appeared to be the same species (although not sure what that is) and the largest (attached picture) had a bell of ~15 cm in diameter. The other two were slightly smaller, with bells of ~10cm. Ocean was calm and clear - not sure how long the jellies had been there.
