Squid hatchlings off aquarium

Fresh market squid hatchlings were abundant in the plankton tow right in front of the aquarium today. These were not present in the same exact tow done on 12/5 which means they likely hatched over the weekend and already migrated to the surface waters from ~120 ft. depth. Chrysaora fuscescens still present in South Monterey Bay. Lots of small molas dead at surface as well.
