clear jelly blobs
Description and Comments
I saw these clear gelatinous blobs with no tentacles or other features. No idea if they are jellyfish, but would be interested to find out what they are! They were revealed at low tide at Sandbanks, Poole, UK. Some of them were over holes in the sand, some floating in the water. They became rubbery and bag-like as they dried out.

Pretty hard to tell from the pic. A photo in the water would be easier. Probably either ctenophore or salp, maybe leaning toward salp given the rubbery texture...
