Small ctenophores in western Norwegian fjord
Description and Comments
The diameter of the well in the top corner picture is 3 cm.
These are very small lobate ctenophores. I suspect they are Mnemiopsis leidyi, but would appreciate any other guesses. There were certainly more in the plankton drag, but I did not do a thorough count. Confirmed to be Bolinopsis by 18S sequencing (Haddock lab)
