Brown sludge Sydney Harbour

I've noticed since Monday that the ocean is a murky brown colour from heavy rains I presume, that we have been experiencing periodically over the last two weeks. The stain stretches out Sydney Heads as well as in Sydney Harbour, Balmoral, and across to Manly. There is a distinct line out at sea where brown meets blue.
