Jellyfish and red tide in El Salvador

After algal bloom (Cochlodinium polykrikoides), jellyfish (Chyrsaora sp. and at least one more) showed up in eastern beaches. Cold sea water occurred (-2 to -1 oC anomaly) as well as northwards winds and currents. Al least 200 people were stung without fatalities during holidays. Cold water only embraced the eastern part of the country according to satellite images.
