Sea Nettles

Description and Comments

Years ago actually when I was with my family on the beach on the North side of the Potomac River, that part of the Potomac that is clean enough to actually swim in it except for one thing. The river was full of jelly fish or sea nittles as they are called and whenever I tried to swim kicking my legs in the water I got stung by them. It wasn't life threatening but it wasn't too pleasant either. I felt like staying out of the water more than going in. I mainly decided to lay on the beach and just get a tan and communicate with my family than go back into the water even though I did to encounter the same experience.
