Aequorea + ctenophores

Description and Comments

First Aequorea of the year (Shingle St, UK) - c.6cm bell diameter. Single dead specimen at water's edge. Also c.10 small Beroe and c.10 Pleurobrachia. Some Beroe had recently eaten a Pleurobrachia, giving the appearance of a sea gooseberry in a bag!
