SPECIES: Spot-winged Comb Jellies, Ocyropsis maculata (Rang, 1827)
SPECIMENS: Lots of 5.5-inch Spot-winged Comb Jellies in water column
DISTINCTIONS: Ribbed comb jelly; lobes whitish translucent with 4 distinct, large dark spots, 2 on each lobe; 2 heart-shaped lobes with a broad bridge joining them across their top center.
OBSERVED: 6 June 2004
