Zillions of white jellies

Tod inlet was full of jellyfish. White /clear jellies from minuscule to 10 cm across. Some with 4 orange / red lobes at centre. At times the surface of the water looked like it was raining in localized areas due to the zillions of them at the surface. I used to live near these waters in the 70's and have recently returned. I never saw jellyfish in these numbers in the 70's and 80's.
