Jellyfish in Nanaimo
Description and Comments
There are lots of jellyfish in Nanaimo docks and around the gulf islands surrounding it. They are 2-5 cm in length, a whiteish clear color and look like moon jellyfish but don't have the distinct mouth, tentacles and bell pattern. They do not have a powerful enough sting to hurt a human. Or they have no sting. They have small tentacles around the bottom of the bell.

Interesting. Probably small hydromedusae. Maybe Phialidium or Mitrocoma?
