Comb jellies in Monterey
Description and Comments
Copepods were plentiful in surface slicks with thousands of Beroe cucumis, B. forskalii and Thalassocalyce (never seen Thalasso in such numbers before in the bay). Few moon jellies present, one C. colorata observed.
