Panhandle of Florida! Near Port St. Joe

We were at St. Joseph Peninsula State park from 8/16-8/18. I saw a clear circle, surrounded by a beautiful blue on the beach. I guessed that it was a jellyfish, but had never seen one like it. I just google "blue Jellyfish" and read the article regarding the billions washing up on the West Coast.

Thanks for the report. Can you check a picture of Porpita (vs. Velella) and see if that looks more like your creature? They are circular as opposed to oval when you look from above.
