Comb jellies (Ctenophora) at Balmoral
Description and Comments
I used my snorkel and mask this morning to get a better look at the comb jellies that are about 250 - 350 metres offshore. I tried to draw it - imagine it in 3D. It had a bell shaped covering on one end. Totally transparent and about 10cms in length. I wasn't happy with my drawing so I'm going to try again.
