Description and Comments

Hundreds of small baby jellyfish are left behind on the beach at low tide. Looked like tiny pieces of clear cabochon glass. And completely disappear in a glass of seawater. With reading glasses I could see 2 streamers moving outside the body and about 8 lines inside the body fluttering. Also 2 small black dots.

Thanks for the report. You have given a very nice description of a ctenophore (comb jelly), either Pleurobrachia or Hormiphora.
