bluefire jellyfish on Canada east coast

Description and Comments

Scyphozoan Cyanea lamarckii specimen has been collected twice in past 3 weeks in Passamaquoddy Bay N lat 45.15 W longt 67.04 by a herring weir fisherman. Tissue has been sent out for verification of taxonomy.
