Maui Jelly sighting and sting
Description and Comments
It was about 2-3 inches long and it was pinkish purple. It had long curly tentacles. We were swimming at as the Maui Local's call 'AirPort Beach' We were snorkeling in the reef and my arms and legs felt like needles were poking me. The JellyFish was just floating in the surf and it constantly kept hitting me. We saw lots of fish from the deeper waters.
