First ctenos of the season
Description and Comments
Spotted several grape-sized cydippid ctenophores (Pleurobrachia bachei???) in water column while scrubbing boat hull. Spring plankton bloom is still very intense, with visibility less than 2 feet. Have not spotted any other jellies this year with the exception of a few Aequorea medusae.
