Lion's Mane Jelly Fish in Fair Harbor, Fire Island, Great South Bay, Long Island, New York

Description and Comments

While waiting for ferry to arrive was flabbergasted at what seemed like an invasion of Lion's Mane Jellyfish. I counted at least 60 of them, and that was just what I could see from the dock. Sizes varied from golf ball to tea saucer size, one about 8 inches across. All pulsating. All at various depths. Surroundings: Dock, seaweed.
