Huge amount of Pelagia Noctiluca at La Ciotat (Provence, France)

Description and Comments

A huge amount of Pelagia Noctiluca was observed along the coast of La Ciotat (France) for at least ~1 km. The average density was 1 Pelagia per dm³, with peaks of 3-4.
Together with Pelagia Noctiluca, Mnemiopsis, Leucotheae and Salpae were observed, as well as millions(?) of extremely small (1 mm³) larvae (possibly calmars).
