As I just joined, I thought a past sighting would be okay to post. This photo was taken August 9, 2013.
They seem to be common for a couple of weeks in the summer and cruise along the bottom, which takes them close to shore. They're active swimmers, but I don't see them near the surface farther out on the dock where that water is about 20' deep.
