Chilpo Green Beach South Korea

Description and Comments

This is an ancient sighting, but interesting enough to me I suppose. May/June of 2001, I was working off the coast of Chilpo Green Beach, in South Korea, we had just finished constructing an elevated causeway system. I was driving out onto the pier head around dawn and remember looking out the cab of my WRTCH (oversized all terain forklift) and seeing a sea of purple globs. I stopped the machine and got out onto the cat walk, and could see clearly up and down the coast, from the beach beyond the pier must have been millions of purple jelly's floating. The scary thing is, a couple of days earlier we had finished our project, and to celebrate we all jumped off the pierhead!
