Moon Jellys off Islamorada

Description and Comments

Large swarms of Moon Jellys (Aurelia aurita) have appeared in the Hawk Channel effecting the patch reefs within the outer reef as well as the outer reefs like Alligator Reef. Producing an irritating but not normally serious sting. Swarm is large enough to prevent sting free snorkeling.
